we are an enthusiast breeder, who absolutely love the Lagotto Romagnolo breed. our dogs live in our home, puppies are whelped in our living room, they receive interaction from us from the moment they are born, until they leave to go to your home. interaction includes, not only adult, but childrens attention, and socialization with our other Lagotto's. we have begun to implement ENS (early neurological stimulation) which assures you a more intelligent, healthy and socialized puppy.
we are so impressed with this breed, that can be traced back to the 16th Century, and we are committed to keeping this breed from going extinct.
I have been a dog breeder all my life, and have been breeding Lagotti for the last 5 years.
One of the reasons we choose this breed, is the hypoallergenic nature of the breed, I have allergies, that prevented me from owning a dog for about 10 years, my son found this breed, and we are hooked!
health testing we conduct: hips, elbows, eyes, and DNA testing on all our breeding females and stud males.
our emphasis is not on "show dogs", although our dogs could be shown, we breed for their other fantastic traits, service dogs, emotional support, and therapy. also they are excellent waterfowl dogs, and are renowned for, as truffling dogs (truffle mushrooms).
