About Kelly
Kelly Verd is from Washington and breeds German Shorthaired Pointers. My first German Shorthair was a rescue that I got in 1996. The breed has hooked me ever since. My goal in breeding dogs is to continually strive to improve the breed and to create lovable companions for show, hiking, hunting and all around great dogs for active people and families. My dogs love to be a part of whatever you are doing. See more info on Instagram. ciderslegacy
About Kelly V.
My puppies live in the house until they are at least 4 weeks old. We are currently building a very nice kennel for them (visitors think we are building another house). My dogs live in the house when we are home and in the kennel at other times. Although a few have the house as a permanent residence. They have 25 acres to run around on.
Puppy Updates
I currently have 4 week old puppies available. Sire is
GCHG CH TRF Coldwater's Ain'T My First Rodeo "Brisby". This is currently the number 2 shorthair in the US. He won Best of Breed in Westminster in 2025 and has won many best of shows. It was a privilege to be able to breed to him. The dam is Ch AvalonVerd who won the Open Class at the German Shorthair Nationals.
