About Tasha
Hello! We are Tasha and Aspen. We fell in love with Corgis reading Tasha Tudorās classic Corgiville childrenās books (highly recommend). We live in a tiny house surrounded by woods and our animal companions: three Corgi dams and a sire, two older husky dogs, calico cats, horses, and the wild creatures in the forest. We are passionate about beautiful Corgis, health, and a lifestyle that encourages us to live close to nature.
Our deeply held values of honesty, kindness, and respect for Godās creation shape how we treat our animals and how we do business at Cordwood Corgis. Our goal is to supply healthy, beautiful, ethically-raised Pembroke Welsh and American Corgis to loving families.
We believe the foundation of canine health is a quality diet with plenty of fresh food. Our puppies are fed raw meat and high-quality, meat-based dog food. Mama eats a raw meat, high-fat diet while nursing, boosting milk production and ensuring thriving puppies. Puppies have plenty of room to roam and grow up on dirt and grass, not in concrete kennels, making housetraining easier. They are held often from their earliest days by big and little hands and socialized by our older dogs and cats. We use toxin-free, natural tick and flea preventatives and vaccinate according to the safest and most effective protocol we have found (see āFAQā below for details). Puppies receive a full health check by our licensed veterinarian before you take them home. We are so confident in our puppiesā health, we offer a 3-year health guarantee upon adoption.
We enjoy living in a small rural community next to a creek with a gaggle of children and animals to keep us working and playing hard. Raising Corgi puppies teaches us deep lessons about the cycles of life, the miraculous process of birth, and about loving and letting go. Itās also just a whole lot of fun!

Our friends joke that our dogs are living every dog's dream life: lots of time every day to free range our land, comfort and shelter in our home and, if they prefer, their cozy outdoor shelters, cats to chase, horses to annoy, a running creek to swim in, more love, ear rubs and chin scratches than they can even handle, and fantastic food.
