My dad made an amazing whelping box for me that’s made out of wood. It’s very roomy, and tall. Almost like an indoor massive kennel. He later also added a dividing door which is removable so momma can have her space when she needs it! Puppies are raised indoor from the beginning. We try to limit how much they touch the ground because they are young and do not have all their vaccines yet. Momma stays inside with puppies for first few weeks and then later spends less and less time gradually as puppies get older.
