Bragers Crossroads kennel

We have been breeding Dachshunds and German Shorthair Pointers for over 15 years. All of our dogs are part of our family and live in our home. Once bred we put the dam on a chicken diet until she is no longer feeding puppies. We buy raw chicken, cook it and grind it with the bones. This gives her plenty of protein. The pups are born in a special birthing box in our living room they stay in there until the dam no longer feeds them. Once they are eating on thier own we move them into a kennel we set up in our garage. They are not in the elements and safe from other animals.
