Meet the owner of Katy’s Kennels, Katy Cleary-Gollon. Alongside her husband Daniel, whom she married in 2023, Katy has built her life around a passion for animals and a commitment to responsible breeding. Katy grew up in southwest Wisconsin immersed in the world of horse training and equine sales, developing a strong foundation in animal care from a young age. Starting at just five years old, she gained hands-on experience training, handling, and understanding animal behavior, skills that now carry over into her breeding program. Throughout her youth, Katy competed in rodeo at both the state and national levels, earning numerous accolades including being crowned the 2012 High School Rodeo Queen. Her experience working with a wide variety of animals and alongside respected professionals has shaped her approach to training, care, and matching animals with the right homes. In addition to building a successful equine business with Katy’s Corral, Katy expanded her passion into the world of dog breeding with the founding of Katy’s Kennels. Her program focuses on raising high-quality, well-socialized puppies with strong temperaments and excellent health. Katy specializes in breeding Corgis, Mini Cowboy Corgis, and Mini Blue Heelers, dogs known for their intelligence, loyalty, and versatility. Each puppy is raised with hands-on care and early socialization to ensure they are well-prepared for their new homes. At Katy’s Kennels, the goal is simple: to provide families with happy, healthy companions that are the right fit for their lifestyle. Katy takes pride in helping match each puppy with the perfect home, offering guidance and support throughout the process.
