About Lenore
🐾 Welcome to Designer Doodles Co. We are a small, family-based breeder located in Southeast Georgia, dedicated to raising happy, healthy, and well-socialized puppies. Our dogs are part of our family and are raised in our home, where they receive daily love, attention, and early socialization with adults and children. Our focus is on producing puppies with exceptional temperaments, beautiful coats, and the loving personalities that make wonderful lifelong companions. We begin introducing our puppies to everyday household sounds, potty training, puppy mush, and water at an early age to help them transition smoothly into their new homes. We believe every puppy deserves the perfect family, and every family deserves a healthy, well-loved puppy. We are always happy to answer questions, provide updates, photos, and videos, and remain a resource long after your puppy goes home. Thank you for considering Designer Doodles Co. We look forward to helping you find your newest family member! 🐶❤️
About Designer Doodles Co.
Our puppies are raised inside our home in the Savannah, Georgia area—not in an outdoor kennel. They have a clean, temperature-controlled puppy area with comfortable bedding, a potty-training station, fresh bottled water, and plenty of room for supervised play. Their puppy mush is prepared with small-breed puppy kibble, puppy milk replacer, probiotics, and bottled water. As they grow, we gradually adjust the consistency to help them transition comfortably to eating dry puppy kibble independently. The puppies are also kept on an age-appropriate deworming schedule, with their treatment information provided to their new families. During the day, the puppies enjoy supervised time outside their play area, interact with our family and adult dogs, and become familiar with normal household sights and sounds. We begin potty training, crate training, leash introduction, and age-appropriate basic commands before they leave us. We also introduce our puppies to shallow water in a kiddie pool and begin gentle grooming of their faces, paws, fannies, and tails. Their living and play areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Families who have placed a deposit receive private, visual-only access to our 24/7 puppy camera so they can watch their puppy grow, play, and learn until go-home day. Puppy Updates
🐾 Our Puppies’ Fifth-Week Development This week, our puppies entered an exciting stage of development! Their balance and coordination improved, allowing them to walk, run, wrestle, climb, and explore with more confidence. Their individual personalities are also becoming much easier to recognize. Playing with their mother, Ginger, and their littermates is teaching them important social skills, including how to communicate, share space, control the strength of their bites, and understand boundaries. Milo, their father, is also active and involved with the puppies. Milo’s brother lives in our home as well and spends supervised time interacting with them. We also have several larger dogs in our family, so the puppies are growing up around dogs of different sizes and personalities. These positive, supervised interactions provide them with additional care, affection, confidence, and valuable lessons in respectful dog-to-dog communication. Their baby teeth are coming in, and they are moving further into the weaning process. They are eating puppy mush, drinking bottled water independently, and gradually relying less on nursing. Their bladder and bowel control are still developing, but they are becoming more aware of their designated potty area and increasingly successful at reaching it. They are also becoming comfortable with gentle handling, grooming, water introduction, short crate sessions, a leash, and simple age-appropriate learning activities. 🐾 What to Expect During Their Sixth Week Next week, the puppies will become even more active, playful, curious, and independent. Their coordination should continue improving, and we expect to see more confident running, climbing, investigating, and interactive play. Most of their baby teeth should be present or close to fully emerging. We will gradually reduce the moisture in their puppy mush as they become more comfortable chewing and eating puppy kibble. They may continue nursing occasionally while naturally becoming less dependent on Ginger. Their attention spans will still be very short, but they will become more capable of recognizing familiar voices, routines, and names. We will continue introducing positive, age-appropriate foundations for recall, leash walking, crate comfort, potty habits, grooming, and basic commands. This is an important curiosity and social-development period. Through gentle handling, supervised exploration, time with Ginger, Milo, their littermates, Milo’s brother, our larger family dogs, and the people in our home, the puppies will continue building confidence and learning how to become loving, well-adjusted family companions. Thank you for stopping by! We hope you enjoyed viewing our little fur babies as much as we enjoy showing them off.
