About Merle
We are a family living on a small farmette in the Pennsylvania countryside, where our dogs are very much a part of our everyday family life. One of the things we have loved is giving our children the experience of helping care for and raise a litter of puppies right in our home.
Our puppies are Miniature Golden Retrievers, a 50/50 mix of Golden Retriever and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Both parents are also 50/50 Miniature Golden Retrievers. Mom weighs approximately 20 lbs and Dad is around 30 lbs, giving us puppies with the wonderful qualities of both breeds in a smaller size.
From the beginning, our puppies are raised in our home and surrounded by normal family life. They receive lots of attention, handling, playtime, and cuddles from our family and children. Our goal is to give each puppy a loving, well-socialized start before they leave us to become part of their new family.
Before going home, each puppy is vet-checked, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and dewormed. We want their transition to their new homes to be as smooth as possible and are happy to answer questions and help you decide which puppy might be the best fit for your family.
We are located in Pennsylvania, but we are happy to work with families from out of state as well. Depending on your location, personal hand delivery may be available so that your puppy can travel safely and comfortably to you.
Most of all, these puppies are being raised with a lot of love. It is important to us that each one finds a wonderful home where they will truly become part of the family.

Our puppies are raised right in our family home rather than in a separate kennel facility. From the beginning, they are surrounded by the everyday sights, sounds, and activity of family life and receive lots of hands-on attention and interaction from both adults and children.
As they grow, the puppies are also given plenty of opportunities to spend time outdoors playing and exploring in our yard. We love watching them run, play, and experience the outdoors while still having the comfort and security of being raised inside our home.
Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, loving environment where each puppy receives individual attention, plenty of socialization, and room to play and grow before joining their new family.
