Our Aussies are the center of our family whether they are hiking with us, helping round up the goats, or just being couch potatoes. We can’t imagine our life without them!
Before adding one to your family, know they are a very intelligent breed, but also a high energy dog that was bred to herd. They require training and understanding on how a herding breed behaves. This is a breed you need to know before getting.
Although very loving and super loyal, they can nip clothes/hands (herd) kids (cats/other animals and you) if you don’t teach them not to.
Training starts with us, but you must continue their training as they mature. Aussies do best in a home where they have plenty of exercise, lots of mental stimulation (as they are that smart), and can truly be a part of your family. They are not a breed that is content living just in the backyard and getting petted here and there.
Our puppies are raised as part of our family. We strive to have puppies that will make other families wonderful life long companions, so we expose them to all kinds of situations you’d find in daily life. Such as vacuuming, brooms, baths, car rides, cutting toe nails, brushing, carrying them, cats, other dogs, etc. All so our puppies can easily transition from our home to yours.
Parents are genetically health tested. Our pups are up to date on vaccinations/wormings, and have tails/dew claws removed. They will come with a take home bag with their AKC & ASDR registration paperwork (Pups are priced as pet only, no breeding rights), health record, some transition food, etc. Let us know if you are ready for one of our babies to join your family!
