I have been involved in general construction most of my life. We got into raising Bernedoodles as a project for my son and father to do together. It has evolved into more than grandpa and grandson project to a family project that is mixed in with the other animal projects ( sheep, rabbits, cats, and even a snake) that our homeschooling children enjoy! What a project!😁

We live in a rural part of Middle Tennessee on an 8 acre property. We have an insulated ‘dog barn’ with heat and a/c that is set up for puppies that also doubles as a Holland Lop Rabbitry. When the puppies are born they are often moved into our garage for the first few days to keep an eye on them. Our puppies are handled from the moment they are born by our children. The dog barn is surrounded with a 2 acre pasture that is closed in with an electric fence where puppies are free to run and play with a goat and a few sheep.
