About Jessi
Hello! We are Jessi and Mitch Conrad, the owners of MNJ Labradors. Located in Iowa, we are a family-operated Labrador Retriever breeder with a passion for raising exceptional companions and hunting partners.
Labradors have always been a special part of our lives. We enjoy spending time outdoors, hunting, and watching our dogs do what they were bred to do. Just as importantly, we value the loyal companionship and unconditional love that Labradors bring to our family every day.
As parents to four young sons, our puppies are raised in a family environment where they receive plenty of love, attention, and socialization from the very beginning. Our boys play an active role in helping care for and interact with the puppies, giving them exposure to everyday sights, sounds, and experiences.
At MNJ Labradors, we are dedicated to producing healthy, well-tempered Labrador Retrievers from proven hunting and working bloodlines. We take pride in responsible breeding practices and strive to give every puppy the best possible start in life.
About MNJ LABRADORS
At MNJ Labradors, our puppies are born and raised in our home, where they receive constant love, care, and attention from day one. As they grow, they also enjoy time in our safe outdoor puppy area, where they can explore, play, and build confidence.
Our puppies are raised using the Puppy Culture curriculum, giving them a strong foundation through early neurological stimulation, confidence-building exercises, and positive socialization. They are well socialized with young children, thanks to our four boys who play an active role in raising and loving each puppy. They are also exposed to other dogs, everyday household noises, new environments, and a variety of experiences to help them become confident, well-adjusted companions.
We begin introducing crate training, potty training, and basic routines before they go home. Our puppies are also introduced to bird wings and loud noises to help develop natural instincts and confidence, making them excellent family companions as well as hunting partners.
We take great pride in raising healthy, happy Labrador Retrievers with exceptional temperaments, and we are committed to giving every puppy the very best start in life.
