I have been a golden retriever fancier for as long as I can remember. Now at 61 and having the acreage and quietness of the North Ga mountains to enjoy my dogs with I have begun a small scale breeding adventure.
My two breeding pairs are also my best friends and fantastic farm dogs.

I live in the country on a gravel road and we own two small farms. 1 is a cattle farm and the other a horse farm. My dogs are kept outside during the day in a huge fenced in yard while I am away or at work. When I am home they are out with me on the farms. They absolutely love water and we are blessed with several creeks and ponds. Due to the extreme heat I keep a pool filled with water in their shed for them. I currently have 5 goldens.
Pups are raised in the stalls at the barn. When they are old enough and walking comfortably they are allowed access to the outdoor run ins. They are extremely well socialized to children and people and by time of adoption will be introduced to several dogs, cats, horses, cows and donkeys.
My veterinarian is a close friend and comes to the farm regularly for innoculations and health checks. All my dogs are on heartworm and flea/ tick medications.
