About Joleen
Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started showing and training dogs at 10 years old with my German Shepherd, Joker. We were members of the Hot Springs Kennel Club Drill Team, an obedience exhibition team, and I also competed as a Junior Handler.
I grew up in a family that raised German Shepherds, and dogs are still very much a family affair. My mom now breeds Portuguese Water Dogs, and I had the privilege of handling her dog for the final points needed to earn his AKC Championship.
Fairytail Kennels is now welcoming our first French Bulldog litter. While this is our first litter, it's certainly not my first experience with dogs, puppies, training or the show world.
Our Frenchies are our family pets first, and our puppies are raised right in our home with the same philosophy. Dogs have always been a part of my life — you could say they're simply in my blood.
About Fairytail Kennels
Our dogs aren't kennel dogs — they're family. Mary and Dexter live in our home with us, and our puppies are born and raised right in the middle of family life.
The puppies have a clean, comfortable whelping area where Mary can care for them while still being close to us. As they grow, their world will grow too! They'll experience normal household sights and sounds, plenty of handling, playtime and age-appropriate socialization.
We want our puppies to leave Fairytail comfortable with real life, because we're not raising kennel dogs — we're raising someone's future best friend.
