Hello new friends!
Welcome to Family Raised German Shepherds, located on the Western Slope in Colorful Colorado.
We are a hobby breeder who occasionally allow our beautiful pet German Shepherds to produce puppies.
We have been German Shepherd parents for more than twenty years. This breed has our heart and we can't imagine life without them.
What started as a desire for the puppy experience has become a passion.
Our passion is producing healthy and well balanced puppies for individuals and families who are dedicated to providing a lifetime of love and experiences for their furry best friend.
About Family Raised German Shepherds
Our fur-babies are nothing short of family! Our pack lives inside the home and participates in all family activities.
About the parents:
Both parents come from Czech working line ancestry. Dad is all German Shepherd and Mom has a hint of husky.
Dad is three years old, black and tan with a strong, masculine build, weighing 90 lbs. Kai has a very gentle disposition and low - medium prey drive. He is calm and steady, only using his sonic bark when necessary. Kai's favorite place to be is wherever I am.
Mom is four years old, has a sable coat and black mask with a strong build, weighing 75 lbs. She has one blue eye which is her only husky trait. Maya is a very vocal girl with a playful and somewhat bossy disposition. She has medium - high prey drive. Maya loves her belly rubs and expects them upon demand. Of course we accommodate!
Maya is a wonderful mom! As much as we love raising her puppies, this is her third and final litter. She will be spayed and continue to be our pampered princess.
About the puppies!
Our puppies are raised inside with the family, under constant supervision. We handle and play with them regularly, working on socializing from the very beginning. They experience all of the sounds and smells of daily family life. These puppies are very smart! We work on teaching age appropriate basic commands as well as litter/potty training from early on.
Puppies have their own play and outside area separate from the adult dogs to ensure health and safety as they grow.
What to expect?
Puppies go home with:
