My wife and I are in our 70’s and only raise puppies to maintain their line that extends back 5 generations. My personal experience with dogs goes back further than I can remember to a Black and Tan Coon Hound that my folks tell me (my mother is 96) used to keep me on a blanket when I was a baby. They raised hunting and racing dogs. Way back, people used to race hounds by requiring them to use scent to follow a specific tract and bark up the tree with a racoon in it. Great times.
About Finley River Doodles
We have a few acres on the upper reaches of Finley River in the SW Missouri Ozarks. The creek was named after a fellow whose last name was Finley and taught outdoor skills to Daniel Boone! Our dogs spend a lot of time running free and playing in the water.

Puppy Updates
F1 and F2 Goldendoodles are both 50% Poodle and 50% Golden Retriever. F1s require artificial methods which means that puppies could favor the full size, shorter haired Golden.
We have selected true miniatures with thick, curly hair to sire our litter and we have not been disappointed. Their first litter produced two and we kept one and our Grandson has the other. To say that they are spectacular is an understatement so of course, we had to have one more. Which means we have four to share.
