Midwest Chihuahuas has been hand raising Chihuahuas in home and scent and obedience training formally since 2007 and for several years prior to establishing our full breeding program.
All puppies are raised in our home and our Chihuahuas and LGDs live in a crate/cage free environment. All out dogs have passed basic obedience. All Chihuahuas are Embark Vet tested, all have also had cardiac and patella examination and are subject to routine bloodwork. All out dogs are treated year round for flea/ticks/worms/heartworms and parasites with Simparica Trio or NexGard Plus depending on size.
We are a household of extremes with Chihuahuas from 3.1 lbs and up to livestock guardian dogs up to 181 lbs all living peacefully together. There are also farm cats and a house kitten rounding out our homestead that pups are socialized to.
All puppies are Vet checked and get their shots and workings from the vet and the Vet removes dewclaws. All dogs come with a huge puppy pack, registration, EmbarkVet work up and five year guarantee. We meet EVERY family in person so if you don’t live local to Kansas or want to come to Kansas to pick up, we will fly or drive to meet you.
Midwest Chihuahuas has been having celebrities naming our litters for more than 15 years. Client families can choose to keep the name or change it.

Our final three litters!
After 20 years, Midwest Chihuahuas is ending the breeding part of our program. We will still be here for our clients and to offer mentorship and genetic counseling to other breeders.
These last three litters will be the pinacle of Midwest. We are happy to discuss our puppies!
