Hi, I’m Holly! I’m the breeder, puppy midwife, photographer, receptionist, professional puppy snuggler and pretty much everything in between behind Milk & Honey Doodles.
I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember, literally since I was a baby. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, so it probably isn’t surprising that I eventually built so much of my life around them. What I didn’t expect was just how much I would fall in love with the breeding side of it too. I’m a total genetics nerd, love studying pedigrees and could happily spend hours planning a pairing.
I’m a small-town Kentucky girl who loves Jesus, my family and, obviously, my dogs. Milk & Honey is a faith-based program, and the name is special to me because it represents God’s promises and the goodness He’s shown throughout my life.
One of my favorite parts of breeding is the people I get to meet along the way. I love getting puppy updates years later, watching these little babies become someone’s whole world and building relationships with families that continue long after go-home day.
If you get a puppy from me, I want you to know you can always reach out whether it’s a question, you need help or you just want to send me 47 pictures of your dog. I promise I’ll probably want to see all 47.
I truly love what I do, and I feel incredibly blessed that I get to share a little piece of Milk & Honey with each family.
About Milk & Honey Doodles
Hi! We’re Milk & Honey Doodles a small, faith-based boutique breeding program tucked away in south-central Kentucky.
Our heart is pretty simple: raise healthy, happy puppies with wonderful temperaments and give them the very best start we can.
Our puppies are raised right in our home alongside our family and dogs, so they grow up surrounded by everyday life, lots of love, intentional socialization and plenty of hands-on attention. We keep our program small on purpose so we can truly know our dogs and pour into every litter we raise.
Health and temperament will always come first here. Our parent dogs are carefully chosen and extensively health tested, and every pairing is thoughtfully planned with health, structure, temperament and genetics in mind.
We primarily raise multigenerational mini Goldendoodles with the goal of creating sweet, confident, family-loving companions with that Golden Retriever heart in a smaller, lower-shedding package.
We feel incredibly blessed to do what we do and never take for granted the families who trust us with their newest little family member.
