We are a family in small town Nebraska. Our dogs, Pearl and Rey are our pets as well as part of the family. They live with us in our home. Both are obedience trained with wonderful personalities. Rey has received the AKC Good Citizen Award and is currently being shown in 4-H by our 11 year old son, winning several events and awards including Top Dog, and advancing to the State Fair. This is our third litter. We love our dogs and this wonderful breed and want to share it with others while upholding to breed standards.

Welcome to our puppy profile, and thanks for your interest in our purebred Porties! We are the Pedersen family. We reside outside of a small town in central Nebraska. Our Portuguese water dogs: Pearl and Rey are the parents of the puppies. Pearl and Rey are beyond cute, very smart, and most of all, beloved family members that live in our home. Pearl and Rey are obedience trained with wonderful personalities. They both have a great pedigree, including Rey's grandfather, an AKC Rally Champion! Rey has received the AKC (American Kennel Club) Good Citizen Award and is currently being shown in 4-H by our 11 year old son. Both parents have been genetically tested using the AKC DNA + Health kits, and are cleared non-carriers of genetic diseases. Results available upon request. We give great attention to upholding breed standards. We love this breed of dogs and ours in particular, and want to share the joyful experience of Portie ownership with other loving families. Rey and our Son competed in the County Fair in four events: showmanship, obedience, rally, and agility. They took home the ultimate award of "Top Dog" of the year for the entire competition, continuing on to the State Fair winning champion it two events! Why choose one of our puppies? By choosing one of Pearl and Rey's puppies, you will be supporting the breed standard, ethical treatment of the parents and puppies, and receiving an amazingly healthy puppy. All puppies come with AKC papers able to be registered with no restrictions. Transportation will be discussed with the buyer on an individual basis.
