Ponderosa Poodles is a multigenerational family endeavor located in the Sacramento Mountains near scenic Cloudcroft, NM. We produce cream and apricot mini and toy poodles. Our goal is for our pups to be both of good temperament and high quality, yet be affordable as family pets. Our motto is every lap needs a poodle. And since we sell our pups as pet only, our litters have not been officially AKC registered. This also allows us to charge a reasonable price that more families can afford. We have a group of family pets that live in home with us and have organically reproduced to be able to share the goodness with others. We have AKC apricot Embers Moon who is ten inches tall and ten pounds, apricot Gingersnap With Tea who is 9 inches tall and seven pounds, and peaches and cream TaoTao Tangos. We have recently added Aspen On the Lamb who is a miniature white and red parti and is 14 inches tall and 14 pounds. Our fathers are our CKC tiny red male, Lexus Holding Aces, who is only 7 inches tall and 4.5 pounds, and our original sweet apricot male, Teddy the Muffin Man, who is 11 inches tall and weighs only 7.5 pounds. We have owned poodles for most of our lives, and these are some of the most affectionate and most beautiful we have ever owned! Having their companionship and getting to bring quality pups to loving homes is a dream come true, and brings so much joy to our own family! Together our poodles have produced some of the most loving and precious family pets around! We are not making high strung show dogs, with brillo-pad like show hair, and a missing show tail. Rather we are concerned with producing personality, smaller size, and having a fluffier and more manageable coat. There are no docked tails here! Constant socialization and a rich diet including home raised fresh eggs along with clean mountain air makes a difference as well!
