We are a family dedicated to the South African Mastiff, better known as the Boerboel. After years of researching and working with large-breed dogs, we welcomed our first Boerboel into our family—and quickly realized there simply would never be a better breed for us.
Boerboels are everything we love in a dog: strong, loyal, affectionate, intelligent, and remarkably gentle with the people they love. At home, they are goofy, loving gentle giants, yet they possess an instinctive, powerful protective nature when it comes to their family. Their intelligence is truly exceptional, and they thrive with clear boundaries, consistent training, and a confident handler.
Our breeding program is built around our love and respect for this incredible breed. We are committed to preserving the integrity, temperament, structure, and working ability that make the Boerboel so special, while also producing dogs with beautiful, distinctive coats.
Our puppies receive exceptional care from the very beginning, with top-quality bloodlines, careful attention to health and structure, and around-the-clock love and attention. We believe raising a great Boerboel is about much more than producing beautiful puppies—it is about giving each puppy the foundation, socialization, care, and individual attention they need to become confident, healthy, well-rounded companions.
Above all, our dogs are family first. We are proud to raise Boerboels with the same devotion, respect, and love that made us fall in love with the breed in the first place.
About Ride Or Die Boerboels
Our puppies are raised in a clean, comfortable, and loving environment designed to give them plenty of room to play, explore, and grow with confidence.
After newborns leave the whelping box shared with Mom, they spend their early days in a large puppy pen with a 40-inch-high gate, a protective tarp underneath, comfortable bedding and blankets, flake pine shavings, and constant access to fresh water. Their space is thoroughly cleaned from top to bottom every day to keep their environment fresh, safe, and comfortable.
Our puppies are also given free-roam time several times throughout the day, allowing them to explore, play, interact with their mom and each other, and burn off their abundant puppy energy. They are surrounded by toys, enrichment, affection, and plenty of human interaction.
Their mom and uncle are crate trained and live as part of our family in a spacious home with a securely fenced backyard. They also have opportunities to visit local parks for additional exercise, exposure, and socialization.
We believe puppies benefit from growing up in an environment that provides both structure and freedom to explore. Our goal is to give each puppy a strong foundation through cleanliness, comfort, play, socialization, and—most importantly—lots of love.
