Retired Army, that enjoys time with family and friends and cutting a caring for our lawn. Have lived in Raleigh for 20+ years with Wife, and our adult son.
We first received our Standard Poodle, we had her trained as a service dog for Chronic Combat PTSD. Through the years we wanted to ensure that we could produce a litter that would be just as welcoming to others as our was when she first came home.

We offer a Loving Environment for Healthy Development, Socialization & Exploration
At Silver Blue Sapphire Litter, our puppies are raised in a nurturing home environment designed to encourage confidence, curiosity, socialization, and healthy development. We provide spacious indoor accommodations, a climate-controlled garage, and a beautiful, private outdoor play area.
🏡 Indoor Whelping & Early Development
Our puppies begin life in a large, comfortable whelping area alongside their mother and littermates. They receive regular human interaction, gentle handling, and exposure to everyday household sounds.
During week six, puppies transition into our climate-controlled garage, providing additional room to explore, play, and develop independence.
🌿 Private Outdoor Exploration & Playtime
Our property features a large, private, fully fenced, golf-course-grade backyard, offering a beautiful, secure, and exclusive environment for supervised exploration and play, away from public dog parks and shared animal spaces.
Weather permitting, puppies enjoy approximately 2–3 hours outdoors daily, experiencing fresh air, natural sunlight, grass, and new surroundings.
Outdoor activities encourage:
- Confidence, curiosity, and independence
- Physical coordination and mobility
- Social interaction with people and littermates
- Exposure to new sights, sounds, and surfaces
- Early outdoor potty-training habits
🌡️ Climate-Controlled Garage & Activity Area
Our spacious garage features climate control, artificial turf, secure exercise enclosures, and designated play areas.
Puppies spend the remainder of their day indoors, enjoying supervised activities, social interaction, and appropriate rest periods. This combination of indoor comfort and outdoor exploration supports their development while maintaining a consistent routine.
✂️ Early Grooming & Nail Care Conditioning
Because Standard Poodles require lifelong grooming, we introduce positive grooming experiences early.
Three times weekly, puppies receive brief, gentle nail-grinding sessions. We also use the grinder to familiarize them with its sound and vibration, helping build comfort with grooming equipment.
These sessions include gentle paw handling, grooming desensitization, and positive reinforcement to help prepare puppies for future grooming appointments.
