Welcome to Spring Ridge Collies
We are dedicated occasional breeders of AKC registered Collies, located in the heart of Central PA / Penn State territory in the small town of Roaring Spring, PA. We live on a homestead that is exclusively AKC Collies. We enjoy using them as work and pleasure dogs.
We carry on the passion for this breed with our mission to protect, honor, and advance this historic breed by focusing on exceptional health, stable temperaments, and the classic, elegant collie expression. We love the Collie breed and want to share our puppies with your family.
Our puppies are born and raised at the center of our daily lives. With children constantly playing with the parents and puppies. After their eyes open, the puppies are handled constantly and undergo early socialization protocols. To ensure the puppies grow into confident and well-adjusted adults they are exposed to:
* Noises (such as loud vehicles, thunder, and fireworks)
* A variety of humans, from children to elderly
* Other pets (such as felines, poultry, etc.)
* Various indoor and outdoor surfaces
* Basic training and house potty training
This lovely litter was carefully planned with a commitment to the AKC breed standard. We strive to breed for the intelligence, intuition, and gentle nature that Collies are famous for. Whether destined for performance events or a loving family, our puppies are bred to excel as loyal companions. Both of the puppies’ parents are on site and play a very important role in caring and raising these puppies.
We take our responsibility as breeders very seriously. Every puppy goes to their new home with AKC registration paperwork, a documented Vet check, up-to-date vaccinations according to your chosen schedule, deworming, and a heart full of love.
About Spring Ridge Collies
Due to a personal love of Collies, my parents, Richard and Mary Keith, have been AKC Collie breeders for 40 yrs. In 2021, my husband and I took over my parents' kennel and are thrilled to carry on the love of AKC Collies. Our dogs are raised interacting with our family and numerous other types of pets from cats to peacocks. Each puppy is loved & played with daily by children and adults. It is a joy to be able to share our Spring Ridge Collies with your family.
