Sale of Puppy Seller agrees to sell and Buyer agrees to purchase one (1) puppy described as follows: - Breed: __________________________ - Sex: __________________________ - Color/Markings: __________________________ - Date of Birth: __________________________ - Registration (if applicable): __________________________ 2. Purchase Price The total purchase price of the puppy is $______ Accepted Payment Methods: Cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, Zelle, or credit card (tap to pay). - Payments made via credit card are subject to an additional processing fee of 4%. Payment received in full on: _______________________________ 3. Deposit and Holding Policy A non-refundable deposit of a minimum of $100 is required to reserve/hold a specific puppy. - Deposits will be applied toward the total purchase price. - A puppy is not considered “sold” or “on hold” until a deposit has been received. - If Buyer cancels or fails to complete the purchase, the deposit is forfeited. - Seller reserves the right to cancel the sale at their discretion, in which case the deposit will be refunded. 4. Health Guarantee To the best of Seller’s knowledge, the puppy is in good health at the time of sale. The puppy has received age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of possession. Written documentation from the examining veterinarian within this time is required for any health-related claim under this Agreement. - If the puppy is found to have a serious illness or congenital defect, Buyer must notify Seller immediately and provide written veterinary documentation. Buyer may return the puppy within 1 day of the veterinary examination for a refund or replacement, at Seller’s discretion. - This guarantee does not cover minor or easily treatable conditions, including but not limited to common parasites typical to the region (such as worms, coccidia, giardia), or conditions arising after transfer due to environmental factors, stress, or care. - All claims must be supported by documentation from a licensed veterinarian. Seller reserves the right to request a second opinion from a veterinarian of Seller’s choosing at Seller’s expense. 5. Buyer Responsibilities Buyer agrees to: - Provide proper food, shelter, training, and veterinary care - Maintain vaccinations and routine care - Comply with all local and state laws regarding pet ownership Buyer agrees to retain veterinary records and provide copies to Seller upon request if any issue arises under this Agreement. 6. Spay/Neuter or Breeding Rights ☐ Puppy is sold with limited registration / spay-neuter agreement. Buyer agrees to alter the puppy by one year of age, and provide written proof from a licensed veterinarian upon completion. Registration papers will be provided once proof is shown. Should you wish to purchase full breeding rights, please contact me directly. (Breeding rights additional $500) 7. No Warranty of Future Traits Seller makes no guarantees regarding the puppy’s adult size, temperament, show quality, or breeding ability. 8. Return Policy / Final Sale All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or returns will be provided except as expressly stated in the Health Guarantee section of this Agreement. If Buyer can no longer keep the puppy, Buyer agrees to contact Seller first. The puppy shall not be surrendered to a shelter without giving Seller the opportunity to reclaim or assist in rehoming. 9. Limitation of Liability Seller shall not be responsible for any veterinary expenses incurred after the sale, except as outlined in this Agreement. 10. Governing Law This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Wa. 11. Entire Agreement This document constitutes the entire agreement between Buyer and Seller. No other promises or representations shall be binding unless in writing and signed by both parties.
