Welcome to Shih Tzu's at Tranquil Acres Farm LLC in Seaman, Ohio!
For more than 25 years, our family has been dedicated to raising quality dogs with an emphasis on health, temperament, and lifelong support for our puppy families. Today, we proudly specialize in AKC Shih Tzus and are committed to preserving the wonderful qualities that make this breed such a beloved companion.
Our breeding program is built on thoughtful planning and responsible breeding practices. Many of our breeding dogs have completed Embark DNA and health testing, allowing us to make informed breeding decisions with the goal of producing healthy, happy puppies with excellent temperaments.
Our goal has never been to simply raise puppies—it is to raise healthy, well-socialized companions that bring joy to families for years to come.
We believe bringing home a puppy is the beginning of a lifelong relationship, not the end of a transaction. Whether you're choosing your first Shih Tzu or adding another to your family, we're here to answer questions, share our knowledge, and provide ongoing support throughout your puppy's life.
Our puppies have found loving homes throughout Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, and West Virginia, and we are grateful that many of our puppy families stay in touch and return to Tranquil Acres Farm when they are ready to welcome another puppy into their home.

About Our Place
At Tranquil Acres Farm in beautiful southern Ohio, our Shih Tzu puppies are raised as part of our family in a clean, loving home environment. From their very first days, they receive daily handling, socialization, and plenty of individual attention to help them grow into confident, well-adjusted companions.
As they develop, our puppies become familiar with everyday household sights and sounds while also enjoying supervised outdoor time to explore, play, and build confidence. We believe these early experiences help prepare them for a smooth transition into their forever homes.
The health and well-being of every puppy is a top priority. Our puppies receive regular veterinary care, age-appropriate vaccinations, and deworming before joining their new families. Many of our breeding dogs have completed Embark DNA and health testing, helping us make thoughtful breeding decisions for the future of our program.
Every puppy deserves a loving home, and every family deserves a healthy, well-socialized companion. That belief guides everything we do at Tranquil Acres Farm.
We understand that choosing a puppy is an important decision. Visitors are welcome by appointment, giving families the opportunity to meet us, see where our puppies are raised, and feel confident about their decision. We're always happy to answer questions, provide additional photos or videos, schedule a video call, and remain a resource long after your puppy comes home.
