I have an adorable Australian Shepherd puppy looking for a loving family to adopt him and spoil him with love, like all puppies deserve. This Aussie puppy is a black tri male with two white markings on the back of his neck that almost resemble an hourglass shape. He is very playful, happy, and loves to get attention from people. He is great at keeping himself entertained with toys, and enjoys playing with his littermates too. He is one of the larger puppies of the litter, and has large paws, so I’m guessing he’ll be a big boy like his daddy, so maybe around 65-70 pounds full grown. Of course, I can’t guarantee an adult weight, there are too many variables at play that can impact what a puppy’s adult size and weight could be when they’re done growing, therefore, this is just an educated guess for his approximated adult weight.
I do have other puppies available from the litter of Australian Shepherd puppies that were born March 13th (please check the other puppies that are available on their listings or message me).
Tsunami is the mom, she’s a beautiful black tri with rich copper and bright white markings. She has full AKC and her pedigree is a pet background. She weighs 55 pounds. Whereas, the daddy is Panda, short for Pandemonium, and he has a Championship show background. He has a grand champion grandfather; and 15 of the dogs in his pedigree have earned championships. Panda weighs 70 pounds.
We begin socializing the puppies to the sounds, smells, textures of our home beginning on day 1. We purposely leave lights and televisions on during the day, so they will be accustomed to everyday normal sounds and hopefully won’t be scared or disturbed by noise. We play videos of fireworks and old westerns with gunshots to again allow them to be exposed to loud noises but we and their mommy are right there in the same room to reassure them if they do react the first few times to a new sound, and they don’t see us reacting to the loud noises, so then they start to know that they don’t need to be scared or nervous either. I have 3 children, and they and their friends have played with the puppies often. In addition, the puppies have been exposed to probably 40 people at this time. We also allow the puppies to play in multiple areas of our house to expose them to tile floors, slate floors, hardwood, and carpet. We live on a busy road, so the puppies have just started to realize that cars exist and that they can safely run around and play on the grass in my fenced in yard. They have also been exposed to cats, some friendly, and one mean cat that hisses and swats if any puppy gets within a foot of her. So they’ve learned that some cats are friendly and can play gently with, whereas they need to pay attention to body language of cats because not all are friendly. We also give them baths, and play with their paws so hopefully they’ll be fine with having their nails trimmed.
All of the puppies are doing well with beginning house training with paper/pads. And some are able to hold it overnight already, and then pee within just minutes of waking up in the morning.
I ask $1100 for my male Australian Shepherd puppies, and $1200 for my female Aussie puppies. All of my Aussies come with full AKC registration applications (I give you the paperwork at the time that you pick up your puppy, so you don’t have to wait for it to arrive in the mail).
All of the puppies have been to my vet two times already. The first vet appointment was on March 13th, and it was a first health check, having their dewclaws removed, and tails docked. The 1 black tri male (Tail) was born only 15 minutes before our vet appointment, so I didn’t have his tail docked or dewclaws removed, he only had a health checkup on that first vet visit.
All of the puppies went to the vet on April 23rd for their second visit while in my care. On the second appointment they received the first vaccination of the DHPP series, Drontal Dewormer as a preventative measure, and a health exam clearing them to be deemed healthy for joining a new family.
Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in coming to meet them. I’m in Milton, DE. I prefer to have you come meet the puppies in person in Milton, Delaware. However, I can deliver the puppy to you or meet you at a public location within a 90 minute drive of Milton.

What are Australian Shepherds known for?
Australian Shepherds are a beautiful breed with merle coats, high energy, and and an obsession with being close to their families. These dogs are wonderful family companions, but be prepared to keep them active and occupied to avoid having a sad, destructive Aussie. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-65 pounds and stand 18-23 inches tall.
Do Australian Shepherds do well in a busy household?
Australian Shepherds are generally excellent with children of all ages. Australian Shepherds are great companion for kids and other pets, especially if they’re socialized as puppies. These dogs can be happy in warm or cool climates, but they need plenty of space to run and play and should have their primary living space indoors. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Australian Shepherds need a lot of physical activity?
Aussies need a lot of high-energy activities and mental stimulation to keep them happy. They’re the perfect exercise buddies, especially for families that like being outdoors. Take your Australian Shepherd for a run, hike, or a long play session in a big backyard to keep their hearts soaring and their minds sharp. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
Are Australian Shepherds high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Australian Shepherd has a dense undercoat and outer coat with medium to long hair that’s straight or slightly wavy. Aussies’ fur is short and soft on their head and legs, with a thick mane around the neck. These dogs can be black, red, red merle (dark patches on a light background), or blue merle, and some may have white markings or tan points too. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Australian Shepherds need a big yard?
Australian Shepherds are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. These dogs can be happy in warm or cool climates, but they need plenty of space to run and play and should have their primary living space indoors. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
