We are searching for the perfect home for a 1½-year-old AKC registered Belgian Malinois female. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
She is an extremely sweet, loving, and biddable girl who truly thrives when she has “her people.” She knows basic obedience and is also trained to an e-collar. She is crated when we aren't home or cannot supervise her. She absolutely loves snacks and is very food motivated, which makes continued training enjoyable and rewarding for her. She also loves staying active - whether it’s walks, hiking, running, or simply being included in daily activities, she is happiest when she is with her people and getting both mental/physical exercise.
She needs a home:
• with NO small children
• with NO cats
• with an active family or individual familiar with working breeds
• with space to run and an active lifestyle — no apartments or condos
She is wonderful with other dogs of all sizes — from French Bulldogs to other Belgian Malinois. Most recently, she enjoyed a playdate with a 100+ pound Rottweiler and had an absolute blast. She was very playful and submissive with him.
Her personality is affectionate, loyal, and eager to please.
Her only “flaws” are:
• She loves very deeply (she is super Velcro and just wants to be with her people)
• She must only be left in wire crate when being crated. She DOES NOT do well with enclosed airline style crates/ impacts/ rufflands/etc.
• If not crated - she may get car sick. It's not always but has happened.
She would love nothing more than to find an active home to call her own — somewhere she can be included in regular family activities, continue learning, and receive plenty of love and exercise.
She does not have to be placed. However, we truly feel she would thrive in a home where she can be more of the center of attention and be given a “job,” even if that simply means consistent training, regular exercise, structure, and lots of love and involvement with her people.
She will come with:
• Her XL wire crate
• Some of her current food
• Veterinary paperwork
• Microchip information
• Some of her chew bones
• Collar and Leash
She will need continued consistency and refreshing on obedience commands as she settles into a new home. As with all new dogs, she will need plenty of time to acclimate to a new lifestyle, routine, Etc
Please only serious inquiries. We want to ensure she finds the very best fit possible. Breed experience is required, and potential adopters should research and understand the needs, drive, and exercise requirements of the Belgian Malinois breed before inquiring. No shipping but will meet locally.

About
Belgian Malinois
Puppies
What makes Belgian Malinoiss special?
Belgian Malinois are protective around strangers, but they bond quickly with their families. They have a keen sense of what’s going on and aren’t afraid to defend their owners and territory. For a happy pup, make Malinois your “only child,” and give them plenty of secured space to play. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-80 pounds and stand 22-26 inches tall.
Will a Belgian Malinois get along with my other pets?
Belgian Malinoiss are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Belgian Malinois should be socialized as a puppy if they're going to live with other dogs or pets, but their nature is to be protective and aggressive toward foreign animals. They’re shy around strangers but get along well with children. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Belgian Malinoiss need a lot of physical activity?
Belgian Malinois need a lot of activity and outdoor exercise each day, such as a long run, walk, hike, or play session in the yard. Malinois thrive most when their minds are stimulated. To keep them engaged, trying playing complex games, sports, and any activity that taps into their natural prey drive. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
What kind of coat care does a Belgian Malinois require?
Belgian Malinois have a short brown, grey, or fawn coat, sometimes with black-tipped hair. Their face usually has a black mask and ears, along with a lighter underside. Belgian Malinois shed heavily once or twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Belgian Malinoiss a good fit for apartment living?
Belgian Malinoiss are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Malinois are quite large, so they do better in homes with large yards, rather than apartments or small spaces. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
