Meet Moose Moose is a handsome 10 month old Golden Retriever with a big heart, a goofy personality, and all the makings of an incredible companion. Expected to mature around 70–80 lbs full grown, Moose is going to be a large, substantial boy with that classic lovable Golden Retriever personality. Moose is sweet, social, and eager to bond with his people, though he can be a little cautious when first meeting someone new. He may need a little extra adjustment time in a new environment, but once he settles in, his affectionate and playful personality really begins to shine. He is currently working on leash manners and enjoys training sessions — especially when treats are involved. Moose is food motivated, eager to learn, and at such a great age to continue building confidence and skills with his future family. One of the biggest perks of bringing home an older puppy is being able to skip many of the hardest baby puppy stages while still getting a young dog who is ready to bond deeply with his people. Moose’s personality is already developing beautifully, making it easier to see the loyal companion he is becoming. Moose would likely do best in a home with other dogs, as he enjoys canine companionship and tends to gain confidence from them. He would thrive with a patient family willing to give him a little time to settle in and feel secure. He has been lovingly raised here at Southern Belle Goldens and is looking for the perfect family to continue his journey with. We welcome in-person visits for local families and also offer transport options for approved homes across the United States. Call or text 256-738-2953 anytime, we’d love to talk with you.
