Meet the Parents:
Sire: Heaven’s Thunder, is all black from a non-fading line. He is super smart, always has a toy in his mouth, and is his Daddy’s Boy. Dam: Sky’s the Limit, is a Black and Silver sassy little mama. She is the littlest of all our kids and is the Boss of the house. She's just 12 pounds and has the most adorable face! She is Mommy’s Little Baby Doll. Both are AKC registered and carry the rare wheaten gene. Hence the light colored wheaten puppies from parents with darker colored coats. This pairing has produced an Amazingly Beautiful Litter! Born on February 10, they are the most adorable Little Baby Cakes. The boys are Boston Cream Pie and German Chocolate and the girls are Red Velvet, Angel Food Cake, Madeleine, Chantilly, and Cupcake.
Meet the Baby Cakes:
- German Chocolate – Our green collared little boy is the biggest of the bunch. Not very big though, at 12 weeks, he weighs under 6 lbs and will weigh approximately 15-17 lbs as an adult. He’s a chubby lttle boy and likes his food. So it will depend on how much you let him eat and what you feed him.
- Boston Cream Pie – Our blue collared boy is all black like his sire. He is a little version of Thunder. Weighing just 4 lbs, he’s a little guy and is very curious and playful.
- Cupcake – Our yellow collared girl is all black and the tiniest of the bunch. At 12 weeks old, she is barely 3 lbs. Unfortunately, she is off the market. Sold to a wonderful woman we met at the vets, it was love at first sight!
- Madeleine – Our light pink collared, wheaten little girl is also Teacup sized. Weighing just 3.6 lbs at 12 weeks, she is tiny! But don’t let her angelic face fool you… She is Energetic and Spunky!
- Angel Food Cake – Our dark pink collared wheaten girl is also tiny, weighing just under 4lbs. She has her mother's babydoll face and loves to cuddle.
- Chantilly – Our purple collared girl is all black and also weighs just under 4 lbs. She is curious and always wants to be my shadow and little helper.
- Red Velvet – Our red collared girl is all black. She is the biggest of the girls. Weighing just over 5 lbs at 12 weeks, she is still a little mini. She is boisterous and likes to talk to you, just like her daddy, thunder.

About
Miniature Schnauzer
Puppies
What's it like owning a Miniature Schnauzer?
Miniature Schnauzers may look like lap dogs, but they’re more likely to chase animals around the yard or stand guard at the door than be lazy couch potatoes. These loyal dogs are bundles of energy that enjoy spending time with their owners, protecting the home, and being your #1 companion. Full-grown, they typically weigh 11-20 pounds and stand 12-14 inches tall.
Do Miniature Schnauzers do well in a busy household?
Miniature Schnauzers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Miniature Schnauzers are not the warmest dogs upon initial introduction, but once they get acquainted with you, they’re sweet and loving. Their wariness around strangers usually leads to lots of barking, especially when they’re around other dogs. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
What activities do Miniature Schnauzers enjoy most?
Miniature Schnauzers are athletic pups that can barely contain their energy. They need to be exercised multiple times a day to stay healthy and avoid getting into trouble. These dogs love to run, play in the yard, practice earth dog or tracking activities, and do anything that gets their heart pumping. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
How much grooming does a Miniature Schnauzer need?
Miniature Schnauzers have typical terrier-style coats. A soft, thick undercoat keeps them warm and is topped by a wiry outer coat. Their notable features include long hair on their chin and face, which gives them expressive eyebrows and a beard. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Miniature Schnauzers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Are Miniature Schnauzers a good fit for apartment living?
Miniature Schnauzers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They can live outdoors in moderate or warm areas but prefer to spend most of their time indoors with family. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
