Athena nickname (Nana)is definitely a blessing & a fighter. The puppy born before her was stillborn so she was stuck by the time the first puppy came out she walked out into the world right behind him covered in green fluid. I was able to extract everything out of her nose and mouth and miraculously she was fine! I named her Athena because she was such a warrior she fought for her life and walked right into this world embracing love right away bcuz I was crying the whole time. But her mom & I are locked in and with God's blessings She's here. This puppy demands kisses & playtime! lol .. So be ready for a lot of kisses, she's a little fat mama she loves to eat.. and she likes to cuddle needless to say I have been spoiling her for whoever comes to make Her a lasting family member... She is vaccinated, dewormed and as you see she's paper trained she does a wonderful job I didn't even have to show her it was almost instinctive. She's eating high quality food.. Healthy and loved.. I'm asking $600 for her as the hard work has been done HOWEVER! FOR THAT SPECIAL GUY GETTING A MOTHER'S DAY GIFT FOR HIS SPECIAL LADY I WILL TAKE $100 OFF IF YOU COME PICK HER UP THE SAME DAY YOU CALL... This is for the whole month of May... Happy Mother's Day to all and peace and blessings from Marquise and my Pack. Please no emails or text, call when ready to adopt... Ty..4049369277

Frequently Asked Questions
About Chihuahua Puppies

What makes Chihuahuas special?
These pint sized pooches aren’t short on smarts! While they make lovable and devoted lapdogs, Chihuahuas possess a ninja-like agility, graceful demeanor, and bravery that sometimes gets them into trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 2-6 pounds and stand 5-8 inches tall.
Can Chihuahuas live with cats and other dogs?
Chihuahuas are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Chihuahuas can usually live with other dogs and cats without problem. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue. A plethora of patterns including sable and masks are also a possibility. It’s this very variety of possibilities makes classification so difficult. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Chihuahuas a good fit for apartment living?
Chihuahuas are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
