BLOSSOM is a cute, funny, and perky Blue Irish Pied French Bulldog. She will make you laugh with her silly antics! She is a petite Frenchie who will stay on the small side as she grows. Please call Jay at (309)427-0634 or Emily at (309)525-1979. We are located in East Peoria, IL, and we offer delivery. We can also meet you halfway to help with the driving time. All our puppies come with a microchip, AKC Papers, and a one year health guarantee. They are also up-to-date on vaccinations and dewormings. Genetic health testing is also important to us, and as part of our breeding program, we health test our Moms and Dads. When you pick up your puppy, we will also provide you with a bag of Royal Canin kibble to get your new Frenchie started, and we always send home toys scented with their siblings' smell to help with your puppy's transition into their new home! We have been breeding for 20+ years and French Bulldogs are a great passion of ours. We can answer any question you have about the breed and our breeding program. Please do not hesitate to call. We would love to chat with you and share our love for Frenchies! It is a $500 deposit to reserve one of our puppies. We can hold your favorite pup with a deposit for up to two weeks. If you need us to hold the puppy longer, we can do that also, but it would be a $1000 deposit in good faith. We understand circumstances often change. Deposits are non-refundable, but if your circumstances require you to wait, you can put your deposit toward a future puppy. Please follow us on our Horizon Frenchies Facebook Page, and you can also find us at www.horizonfrenchies.net. Also, take a moment to read our 5 Star Reviews on Google! The Health and Happiness of our Frenchies is a major driving point for us. We care deeply about providing you with a wonderful experience, whether this is your first Frenchie or your fifth! Thank you and hope to speak to you soon! Jay and Emily Winne

Frequently Asked Questions
About French Bulldog Puppies
What's it like owning a French Bulldog?
Contrary to their name and grimace, French Bulldogs are about as sweet as they come. They’re happy-go-lucky, entertaining, and can barely fit their big hearts in their tiny bodies. As an easygoing breed that expects nothing but love and affection, a Frenchie will surely be your family’s best friend. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-28 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.
Are French Bulldogs good family dogs?
French Bulldogs are generally excellent with children of all ages. French Bulldogs love living with other dogs, pets, and kids. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Can French Bulldogs keep up with an active lifestyle?
French Bulldogs need a bit of activity each day, but they’re pretty low maintenance when it comes to exercise. A short walk or play session in the yard should do the trick. Frenchies don’t have much stamina and are sensitive to the heat, so don’t expect much from them in the sporting department. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Do French Bulldogs shed a lot?
The French Bulldog has a fairly fine coat of short and smooth hair that can be fawn, white, or brindle, with a variety of markings. These dogs also have soft, loose skin that forms wrinkles on their head and shoulders. While their coats don't shed much, the Frenchie’s wrinkles need a bit more TLC. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
What living situation works for a French Bulldog?
French Bulldogs are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. French Bulldogs also hate hot weather and swimming, so keep them indoors and away from water. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
