Meet Mr. Cletus 💚
Cletus may be the smallest puppy in the litter right now, but don’t let that fool you for one second — this little man is packed full of personality, confidence, and pure comedy. With those oversized floppy paws he’s constantly tripping over, watching him toddle around is enough to have the whole house laughing nonstop. Half the time he looks like he’s still trying to figure out what to do with all those legs and feet, and it somehow just makes him even more adorable.
And despite his tiny size? Cletus believes with his entire heart that he is the biggest, toughest dog in the room. He growls at Mark for sliding his food bowl over, puffs himself up at dogs three times his size, and carries himself with the confidence of a full-grown protector already. That tiny little growl of his is honestly one of the cutest things you’ll ever hear. It’s impossible not to laugh.
But underneath all that spunky bravado is the sweetest little doll baby imaginable. Cletus is playful, energetic, curious, and absolutely full of life. He loves attention, loves being involved in whatever is happening, and has this hilarious expressive personality that keeps everybody entertained. He’s the kind of puppy that steals the spotlight without even trying.
And honestly? I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if this “little guy” ends up outgrowing several of his siblings before it’s all said and done. Those big paws are telling on him already.
Cletus is pure joy wrapped up in brindle and white perfection — funny, fearless, loving, and unforgettable.

About
American Bulldog
Puppies
What's the personality of a American Bulldog?
You may recognize a Bulldog’s signature grump face from a mile away, but their appearance is rarely indicative of their personalities. Beneath that scurly scowl is one of the most affectionate, low-maintenance dogs around. They’re the perfect companions for adults, kids, and just about anyone who appreciates a relaxing day on the couch. Full-grown, they typically weigh 60-100 pounds and stand 20-25 inches tall.
Are American Bulldogs safe around children?
American Bulldogs are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Bulldogs enjoy living with other dogs and pets. The breed is great with children and can adapt to any lifestyle. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How much exercise does a American Bulldog need?
The Bulldog’s easygoing personality extends to its exercise needs too. They don’t need much activity and will adapt themselves to your family’s lifestyle whether energetic or sedentary. Bulldogs will happily go along for a short walk, but they’ll be ready for a nap after a few blocks. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Are American Bulldogs high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Bulldog has a short, smooth, glossy coat that comes in beige, mottled colors, brindle, or white. Their fur is easy to groom and only requires a quick brushing a few times each week. However, their facial wrinkles need a little extra TLC, as the folds can gather bacteria quickly. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
How much space does a American Bulldog need?
American Bulldogs are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Their size and general lack of barking make them well-suited for apartment life, but they won’t complain about having a home with more space and a yard. Regardless of the setting, they should be kept as primarily indoor dogs. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
