Ember is an extremely small (3.3lbs) black and tan female Pomeranian with a HUGE coat. She is the most sweet and loving bay girl who wants to do nothing more than cuddle. I am rehoming her due to me having young children/toddlers. The chaos of the house scares her. She hide sleep under my furniture all day until the kids go to bed for the night. Note- she is wonderful with kids. She lets them pick her up, carry her, pet her, play with her, feed her, but as soon as the screaming/running/playing starts, then she goes and hides. I am a stay-at-home mother who homeschools, so she doesn’t get that “daytime break” if the kids were to go off to school. She would thrive being in a quieter home. She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, bunnies, or any other animals. She’s calm, but does do a “hoppy dance” (she hops like a little bunny) when she’s excited. She is cat-door trained, but may need to be shown how to use it again since we moved and have not had one for a few months. She does not have your typical Pomeranian bark- she has a very soft bark. She also does not bark unless someone is at the door. She’s absolutely wonderful, but she deserves to be in a home that is able to provide her the comfort of roaming the house confidently. I am making a trip down to Tampa, Fl The Weeknd of March 28-30 and will be willing to bring her with me if it is along my route instead of buyer paying separately for transportation. If your location is farther from my route, I may be willing to still travel with a fee of $100 per hour away from my original route. I will also groom her before she leaves. I can do a shorter “summer cut” to trim down her coat for the hot weather, or I can do a “santi” trim to clean up her privates, feet, and ears. Frequently Asked Questions
About Pomeranian Puppies
What are Pomeranians known for?
Pomeranians lived in the lap of luxury among British royalty in the 1800s. The times may have changed, but their personalities have not. Poms still enjoy being doted on, but will shower you with love in return. Full-grown, they typically weigh 3-7 pounds and stand 6-7 inches tall.
Are Pomeranians a good choice for families with kids?
Pomeranians are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Indoor dogs, they are pretty adaptable and can live in most settings. Pomeranians are loving family members who are best matched with older, gentle children due to their small, delicate bodies. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Pomeranians couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Pomeranians enjoy daily walks and lots of playtime with their families. These pups may be small, but they can sure hop, skip, and jump with the best of them. They thrive in doggie sports like agility, obedience, and flyball. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What's the coat like on a Pomeranian?
Being this pretty doesn’t come easy. Pomeranians require some upkeep to maintain their good looks. Poms have a thick double coat that requires daily brushing. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What living situation works for a Pomeranian?
Pomeranians are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Although Pomeranians may be high maintenance in the grooming department, they are low-key when it comes to their living environment. Indoor dogs, they are pretty adaptable and can live in most settings. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
