About Miriam

Miriam is almost four months old and is fully trained in all commands. She was potty trained since 8 weeks old and trained to walk on and off leash to the park and stay close to her mom and myself. She is like a daughter to me. This will break her to give her up and it will break me. She comes when called. She stops barking on command and knows to walk in the grass not the pavement and to stay out of the street. Barks at strangers coming towards you and your home to protect. Teaching her not to bark. Miriam knows how to bark under her breath. Understands "bad girl," when in trouble and she curls her, ears down, and lays down in time out. Highly intelligent. Born on January 21st, 2026. The only female of a litter of five. Last litter. Spaying mom, who was a street rescue. Eats hard puppy food and fresh, homemade food. Uses homemade doggie toothpaste and gets her teeth brushed twice daily and used doggie mouthwash in her water and doggie tooth paste powder on food twice daily. Miriam is highly attached to me. I pulled her out of her moma and she grew up on my chest. I'm not sure if she will attach herself to you or create the same deep bond with you. I've had her for almost four months now, and she thinks I'm her mom. Plays with me around my neck in circles to make me laugh. Lives to greet me and make me happy. Very sweet dog. The best puppy I've ever had hands down. She's priceless!

Frequently Asked Questions
About Chihuahua Puppies

What makes Chihuahuas special?
These pint sized pooches aren’t short on smarts! While they make lovable and devoted lapdogs, Chihuahuas possess a ninja-like agility, graceful demeanor, and bravery that sometimes gets them into trouble. Full-grown, they typically weigh 2-6 pounds and stand 5-8 inches tall.
Can Chihuahuas live with cats and other dogs?
Chihuahuas are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Chihuahuas can usually live with other dogs and cats without problem. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue. A plethora of patterns including sable and masks are also a possibility. It’s this very variety of possibilities makes classification so difficult. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Are Chihuahuas a good fit for apartment living?
Chihuahuas are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.
