We will not ship a puppy.
Face to face only.
The remaining puppies from this litter were supposed to go to a Dogs For Disabled Veterans program. (These puppies would have been GREAT as service dogs.)
The non-profit closed their doors, sadly, leaving us with 3 extra 35lb pups.
Mastweilers were bred first around WW2 in the UK.
Think larger than a Rottweiler, mellower than a Rottweiler. Smart like a Rottweiler, without the Mastiff drooling and a whole lot less 'giant dog' issues.
Very sweet and gentle overall, they are couch potatoes that "guard dog" VERY well.
(If it's out of place, the family MUST be warned.)
The litter has been with us since birth.
They have roamed the fenced yard with free range chickens and our adult dogs.
None of these pups have EVER been in a crate, except for one vet trip 9 miles from our home.
They have been car-ridden many times to get a Tractor Supply "Chewie-treat."
VERY heavy human interaction since birth.
There are videos of these very puppies...from birthing/labor...to present day, on youtube.
This link will take you to the channel: https://www.youtube.com/@jds8950
If you came across my Mastweilers in search of a Rotty, it may be helpful to see what they look like as adults. While the colors are different on the dogs in these examples, personalities and body types are RIGHT in line with what our pups will grow into. The two linked below will give you a good idea what to expect.
To see what to expect in body type and personality when they are grown, please view this video.
(NOT MY DOG. https://youtu.be/GeyRnOr1AhU?si=1y45WlyAT_QaNrEa)
"Gunner" shows the exact body type to expect. (...and the personality is RIGHT in line with a typical Mastweiler.)
Also, you'll want to see this vid of "Angus from Sweden" (not my dog) to show the body type and basic personality. https://youtu.be/nZIDIP01fmM?si=PBkxDXX6-sSBDbVc
The title of the video is sarcasm. They are anything but dangerous. (Watch the video.)
They are ALL like this to interact with. VERY VERY good with kids.
The puppies who have found new homes already, sleep, play and nap with toddlers.
Super velcro, excellent family dogs. VELCRO!
Both parents are present. (They are our pets, not kennel dogs.)
This is the only litter we will ever offer.
If you are unaware of this breed, search MASTWEILER on Google.
Lots of info out there.
Angus, (yes, he was named after "Swedish Angus" in the video)...was supposed to stay with us. The one puppy we were going to keep.
He is gorgeous.
Whichever is the last pup left here, will now be the one we keep.
Angus is VERY unusual in his markings. He looks fierce, but is actually the mellowest of the remaining puppies. Super belly rub addict.
VERY easy going and low-energy level.
If you planned on bringing your dog to work with you, Angus has an energy level that matches. Friend to all who pet him.

Frequently Asked Questions
About
Rottweiler
Puppies
What is a Rottweiler like?
Rottweilers (or “Rotties) may have a bad-to-the-bone reputation, but their diehard protectiveness comes from a positive place. These large and powerful pups make it their mission to keep you safe but are surprisingly calm when they aren’t on high alert. Full-grown, they typically weigh 80-135 pounds and stand 22-27 inches tall.
How do Rottweilers behave around young children?
Rottweilers are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Socialization is the top priority if your Rottie is going to be around kids or other animals. Rottweilers can be good playmates for children, cats, and pets, but they need to be socialized early and have positive experience when they’re young. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How much exercise does a Rottweiler need?
Rotties need daily exercise to get their energy out and their heart pumping. It’s safe to take them running with you in the open country or the woods, as they don’t like to wander far from their families. Rottweilers are very smart and also love sports like swimming, running beside a bicycle, and playing fetch with a ball. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Is a Rottweiler a good choice for someone with allergies?
The Rottweiler has a distinct outer coat of short, thick, coarse fur with a thick layer of hair underneath. All dogs in this breed are black with brown markings. You may find ones with long hair or white chest markings, but these traits are not as common. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
How much space does a Rottweiler need?
Rottweilers are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
Frequently Asked Questions
About
English Mastiff
Puppies
What's it like owning a English Mastiff?
Mastiffs are far from the imposing beasts they may appear to be. This breed is the heaviest dog around, but judging by their personalities, most of that weight lies in their hearts. Mastiffs are kind, gentle souls who protect if needed but would choose a hug over hostility any day.
How do English Mastiffs behave around young children?
English Mastiffs are generally not the best fit for families with young kids. Mastiffs are good with children and get along well with other dogs and pets with socialization. Their good-natured temperament lends well to families with children, and they often put up with playing, pranks, and hijinks without batting an eye. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Are English Mastiffs couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
In spite of their imposing size, the adult Mastiff doesn’t need a ton of exercise. These dogs enjoy walks around the block, a light job, or playtime in a large, fenced-in yard. Mastiff puppies shouldn’t be overly exercised because they need all of their energy to grow strong bones and put on weight. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What kind of coat care does a English Mastiff require?
Mastiffs have a short-haired, fawn (light-yellow brown) coat that ranges in color from silver to apricot to dark brindle. These dogs are recognizable by their black mask, ears, and nose. Because their hair is so short, the Mastiff’s coat needs little attention; brushing them with a rubber brush once in a while should do the trick. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do English Mastiffs need a big yard?
English Mastiffs are best suited for a house with a good-sized yard. Mastiffs are ill-suited for hot weather and prefer life indoors where they can relax on a soft pillow or cold tile. Because of their size, Mastiffs aren’t practical for apartments and will be more comfortable in homes with a yard. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
