Thanks so much for looking at our puppy. We are a second-generation, woman owned, licensed breeder and boarding facility with over 150 5-star reviews on Google. We love what we do! Here’s a little of what you can expect from B&C and our puppy. All of our puppies are lovingly cared for and socialized daily from the moment they are born to help foster lifelong bonds. We start their health journey early by administering vaccines, de-wormer, and implementing parasitic controls. Each puppy is vet-checked, microchipped, and comes with a congenital and hereditary health warranty for your peace of mind. We introduce crate conditioning, socialization, and basic obedience to all our puppies. We encourage families to bring their children to their appointment to help everyone become comfortable with the puppy and finding the one that fits you best. If you choose to take one of our puppies home, we will review their daily routine and potty habits to ensure a smooth transition for both you and your new companion. You will also receive a comprehensive health record for your puppy, which details all vaccines, de-wormer, and parasitic controls that have been administered, so your veterinarian can continue their care. We will explain the microchip identification and provide you with instructions on registering it in your name. Additionally, we send each puppy home with Diamond puppy food and some treats to help ease the transition. Please remember, at B & C Kennels, purchasing a puppy is only the beginning of our relationship—we are always here to support you as you welcome your newest family member.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shichon Puppies
What kind of dog is a Shichon?
The Shichon or Zuchon is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. This hybrid is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Zuchon. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-12 inches tall.
Do Shichons get along with kids?
Shichons are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Scichon are easy-going and enjoy the companionship of their owners. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Shichons need?
The Shichon does not require formal daily exercise. Routine play is sufficient though they do enjoy short walks with their owners. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What kind of coat care does a Shichon require?
The coat of a Shichon is usually thick and sheds very little. The coat can come in a variety of lengths depending on which breed this dog's coat takes after. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shichons are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shichons?
Shichons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
