Zayda is a black Hungarian Mudi. She’s super sweet, as per the breed she is aloof but she loves her people! She is sometimes not Mudi-like out in public and likes to cautiously meet people and then bounce around. She is house and crate trained. Selective with dogs so would need to meet any potential new friends. She currently lives with other dogs and likes most of them. Up to date on vaccines. She has no papers and will not come with them. She is not yet currently spayed. She has no training other than knowing her name, kennel, and come. She is perfect on leash, and fantastic for grooming.

How do Mudis behave around young children?

A Mudi will see children and other animals as part of their flock and will be loving and protective of them. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Mudis couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Mudis are incredibly talented and can learn to excel in almost any dog sport. Everything they do, they do with great enthusiasm. You’ll want to take your Mudi on daily walks or jogs and when you can, bring them to a dog park or fenced-in area where they can roam free and work off some of the energy. Overall, their exercise needs are high.

A Mudi’s coat is easy to care for. Their wavy hair only requires a weekly brushing to stay healthy and looking beautiful. Mudis shed a moderate amount throughout the year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Mudis need a big yard?
Mudis are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Mudis are happiest in rural settings where nobody minds if they bark and where they have a safe space to play in. In general, a Mudi should not live in an apartment but should be allowed to live in your home so they get to spend plenty of time with their human friends. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
