Why We Love Pomeranians
At Perfectly Pampered Pomeranians, we raise family-loved Pomeranian puppies with a focus on health, temperament, socialization, and responsible placement. Our background includes five years managing a veterinary hospital, involvement in dog 4-H activities such as obedience, agility, Fast CAT, and obstacles, and a strong belief in holistic wellness.
We breed Pomeranians because we love their loyal nature, bold personalities, intelligence, and the joy they bring into a home. Our puppies are raised with care, early socialization, veterinary attention, and lots of love so they can become confident, cherished family companions.
We like to say that Pomeranians are the little dog for big dog people.
I never really thought of myself as a “little dog person.” I didn’t always see small dogs as bold, athletic, or especially cool — but Pomeranians changed that for me. They are different. They may be tiny, but they carry themselves with confidence, personality, and heart.
Pomeranians are fun, bold, smart, spirited, and full of character. They have the presence of a much larger dog in a small, beautiful, portable package. They are alert, loyal, playful, and deeply connected to their people.
That is one of the reasons we fell in love with the breed. Poms are not just cute little lap dogs — they are lively companions with big personalities. They can be affectionate and sweet, but they also have confidence, sass, curiosity, and a surprising amount of courage.
For us, that is what makes the breed so special. Pomeranians offer the charm and beauty of a small companion dog, but with the boldness, intelligence, and spirit that big dog people appreciate.
