I’m the breeder behind RootsDeep Miniature American Shepherds, a small program in North Florida. I fell in love with this breed for its intelligence, versatility and incredible connection with its people.
Temperament is at the heart of what I do. I want to raise dogs that are not only beautiful and structurally sound, but enjoyable to live with—dogs that can be companions, adventure partners, performance dogs or simply someone’s very best friend.
Our puppies are raised as part of everyday life with extensive socialization, enrichment and exposure to children, adults, other dogs, water, farm life, different surfaces, grooming, travel, crates and new environments. I put a great deal of thought into helping each puppy develop confidence while also getting to know them as individuals so I can help families find the puppy who truly fits them.
Our breeding dogs are fully health tested, and we value titles and accomplishments that demonstrate the qualities we want to preserve in the breed.
