About Michelle
My journey into breeding Shih Tzus began with one extraordinary little dog named Tilly. Tilly came into my life with significant health challenges. From the very beginning, she required extensive veterinary care, and as the years passed, her medical needs continued to grow. Loving her through those challenges taught me just how precious these little dogs are and how important responsible breeding truly is. I knew I wanted to do everything possible to help produce healthier puppies with the best chance at long, happy lives. My love for animals didn't begin with breeding. For more than 20 years, I volunteered in animal rescue, helping homeless and neglected pets find loving families. Those experiences strengthened my belief that every dog deserves compassion, proper care, and a lifetime of love. When I made the decision to become a breeder, I promised myself that I would never breed simply to produce puppies. My goal would always be to preserve and improve the breed through careful health testing, thoughtful pairings, and raising each puppy with intention. Every breeding decision I make is centered on health, temperament, and sound structure. My dogs are family first. They live in my home, not in kennels, and every puppy is raised with constant love, socialization, and hands-on care from the moment they are born. They are introduced to everyday household sounds, handled daily, and given every opportunity to grow into confident, well-adjusted companions. I often say I wasn't blessed with children of my own, so these little ones become my babies. They are celebrated, cherished, and loved from the day they enter the world until the day they leave for their forever homes. My responsibility doesn't end when a puppy goes home. I believe in providing lifelong support to every family that welcomes one of my puppies into their lives. For me, breeding isn't a business—it's a calling. It is built on love, compassion, integrity, and a sincere desire to bring healthy, happy Shih Tzus into families who will treasure them as much as I do. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me and my program. I would be honored to be a small part of your journey in finding your newest family member.
