We have been breeding Great Danes since 2025. We focus our attention on our puppies to be great companion animals, focusing on early obedience training and socialization to everyday things a family pet would encounter. Small children, cats, small farm animals like chickens and goats. We spend a good amount of time focusing on the little things, like stair training. After speaking to homes we have placed our puppies in, simple things like stairs, or door thresholds, or hallways and dark spaces seem to be a big stressor for puppies when they go home. So our work starts around week 3 or 4 where we do a ton of exposure to those simple things. That way when you get your new puppy, almost all of the things that every home will have will not be new. Even things like the television can be a major stressor to a puppy that was not whelped in a home. We send our puppies from our home to yours, and our home is not any different, other than we just happen to have one that's full of puppies!
