About Dream Danes
Welcome to Dream Danes – House of Great Danes, located in Batavia, Illinois, just outside of Chicago.
Great Danes have been a part of our family for more than 20 years. We are a small, family-based breeding program, and our puppies are born and raised inside our home as part of our everyday lives — never in an outside kennel environment.
Our focus has always been on what matters long after a puppy leaves us: health, temperament, confidence, socialization and creating wonderful family companions.
Our puppies receive hands-on care and early developmental experiences from the very beginning. Depending on age, this includes Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), scent introduction, exposure to different sounds and surfaces, handling, outdoor exploration, beginning leash work, crate exposure and early potty-training foundations.
They grow up around our family, adult Great Danes and the normal sights and sounds of a busy home. We want our puppies to leave us having already experienced much more of the world than the inside of a puppy pen.
Veterinary care is extremely important to us. Our puppies receive age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, veterinary examinations, microchips and preventative care before leaving for their new families. Our parent dogs are part of our family and health testing is an important part of our breeding program.
We also believe choosing a puppy should be personal. We welcome conversations, FaceTime calls and visits because we want families to get to know us just as much as we want to get to know them. Matching the right puppy with the right family matters more to us than simply placing a puppy.
Our relationship doesn’t end on pickup day. We love watching our Dream Danes grow and remain available to our families throughout their dogs’ lives for questions, support, celebrations and everything in between.
Every Dream Dane leaves here carrying a little piece of our family with them. ❤️🐾
