I was first introduced to the Shih Tzu breed when I was a child by my grandmother who bred and showed Shih Tus in the 60's, 70's and 80's. My first Shih tzu was named Buttons and she was a traditional black and white, standard size Shih Tzu. Fast forward 40+ years and I have 4 lil shihz, 3 females, 10, 5 and 3 pounds and a male that weighs 7 pounds. Although they aren't the traditional size, they still have the biggest hearts and are the most loving babies.
