Iron Kangals specializes in authentic Turkish Kangal puppies from direct working import lines. We do not breed the lighter American show lines. We focus strictly on the true heavy working phenotype with massive bone, broad heads, and real livestock guardian drive.
We are proud to be one of the very few breeders in the country importing this caliber of dog. Our biggest differentiator is the kara kircil dark type. This is the traditional dark coat that Turkish shepherds specifically breed for because it naturally intimidates predators better in the field. No one else in the US is bringing in this specific rare lineage.
