I live on a farm outside of Humboldt and have raised our four boys there for thirty years. I have always had a dog or dogs on the farm and loved them all. In 2023 I lost both of my dogs within four months of each other. I had them for 12 and 14 years. I decided I needed to get a golden retriever since I have never owned one. We traveled ten hours to Oklahoma to pick up Daisy in February and I immediately fell in love.
