I specialize in small designer dogs. I will custom breed the combination of your choice. How did I come up with my business name? As a comedy singer songwriter, I chose a name that would entertain. Pooch La Hooch, or house of dogs, will bring more laughter into the world. My dogs spend as much time outside as they want but are happiest indoors with me. I make sure they have plenty of toys, bones, pig ears and clean water.
I try to create the best possible puppy. I only give them purified water, to discourage biofilms forming on water bowls and to reduce likelihood of cancer from chlorine and contaminants. Recently I started giving them Mountain Valley, the best water in the world, and the one served at the White House. I have it delivered in five gallon glass jugs. I just bought 12 cookbooks for dogs on Ebay to better create healthy balanced home-cooked meals. I cook an evening meal as often as I can. Friends give me venison. and all year round I will be growing organic vegetables in my new greenhouse. The dogs can spend more time outdoors in the winter there as it is climate controlled. Have had chickens before, and hope to be raising organic chickens soon for eggs.
Raised indoors and out, under my watchful eye, none of my dogs are left to their own devices. I constantly evaluate nutritional needs and monitor moods. I give lots of hugs and attention, as they are the kids I never had. Lately they’ve been receiving Katherine Heigl’s air dried Superfood’s…a handful or two a day….which they love! I add to their food, in rotation, Missing Link for Puppies, Canine Complete, Bernie’s Perfect Poops and supplements for brain, heart, liver, kidney, bladder and calmness. Holistic and organic myself, I spoil my ”kids” with every advantage money can buy. Consider it my gift to you! About Pooch La Hooch
At Pooch La Hooch our goal is to raise beautiful, well tempered, healthy puppies from happy, well cared for adults. To implement that dream I have been home cooking a pot of dog food several nights a week. They love it! Their coats are getting shinier, tongues are pinker and there is less barking.
My passion is creating designer dogs. Hybrid vigor is created when two “overbred” breeds meet. Fresh DNA from a whole new gene pool makes for a healthier dog. Past pairings have been Chi Chi’s (Chi/ Crested) Schinauhua (Schnauzer/Chi) Yins (Yorkie/Chin) Chivalier’s (Cavalier/Chin) and PomChins. Litters expected soon are Pomchi, Chinauzer and Chug.
My dogs, in nice weather, are outside to run and tumble in a large pen. In spring, summer and fall they get bathed and groomed every other week with teeth brushed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. In winter, monthly. I use, among other things, non-toxic food grade Diatomaceous Earth for parasite control. My dogs are like the kids I never had, and are treated like gold. They are spoiled with fresh vegetable treats, fresh meat and lots of organic eggs. When I home cook a meal I give them the 10 best herbs for dogs; Basil, Chamomile, Dandelion, Dill, Horsetail, Oregano, Sage, Parsley, Thyme and Turmeric. Currently I buy it organic by the pound, but will soon be growing and drying organic in my greenhouse.
All my dogs and puppies are UTD on shots and wormings, but I try not to over vaccinate. Because they are so small I sometimes start the shots later and increase the time between them.100% satisfaction is guaranteed. I put so much time effort and money into the creation of these little beings that I am more than happy to take them back at any point. Puppy Updates
Good news! A litter of PomChins expected any day. All litter pics will be posted at three days and updated at five weeks. Pumpkin is giving us a litter of Chivaliers middle of May. Twinkie is expecting a litter of champion bloodline 100% Chi puppies end of May. They will be a mix of short and long hair. Surprises this summer may be a Chinauzer and a fluffy Chug litter.
