Blue is a fun pup who is full of life, curiosity, and nonstop tail wags. He’s always ready to explore and play. He was the first to play with toys and walk on the stairs. He’s happiest when he’s on the move and by your side. He is incredibly smart and will love to learn tricks. He is really a “dog’s dog” and is constantly engaging his litter mates. He will thrive with an active home or as a companion to another dog. His smile is absolutely heart melting and he is as friendly as can be.
His activity level is moderate for a 10-week old puppy. We expect him to be a low-medium shedder. He was 7.5 lbs on 7/16. At this time, we anticipate his weight to be between 25-35 lbs. He had a clean bill of health at his vet check and has had his first shots and is fully dewormed. His vet record will be included in his purchase. He has classic American Golden coloring with a little white blaze on his chest.
About this litter: Mama Lady and Papa Major have clear genetic testing and great temperaments. Mama weighs 28 lbs and Papa weighs 30. She is about 50% Retriever, 20% English Cocker Spaniel, and 30% Miniature Poodle. He is about 50% Cocker Spaniel, 35% English Cream Retriever, and 15% Miniature Poodle. This gives them a nice petite frame, soft straight coat, and the squarish profile of the classic retriever face with slightly longer ears to give them a “forever puppy” look.
Both parents are very petite boned and pretty. They have had Early Neurological Stimulation, are being socialized with the 7 by 7 method, and have started tray training as a precursor to potty training. They are currently working on crating at night with a partner and, after their second set of shots, they will start getting used to wearing a leash.
