Today, Sept 24th, is the first day listing him. I have had an extremely busy summer with my children and just now getting the time to sit down and get pictures and listings put of the website. Just wanted to let everyone know this because one of the first questions I always get is " Why is he still available at his age?"
Standard Poodles have a goofy streak and love to play. They form strong bonds with their family and are very eager to please. Because of this they are highly trainable and love to learn. They are good dogs for novice owners and adapt well to apartment living. They are affectionate with their family, kid and dog friendly, and friendly towards strangers. They are considered hypoallergenic and do not shed like a normal dogs do. This beautiful boy we are calling Airagone. This is just a reference name. You can call him anything you want. His pictures do not do him justice. He is super playful and loves to be with you no matter where you go. You will never need a leash for him as he will be your shadow. He is also a big lover and likes to cuddle on the couch on those Sunday afternoons watching football. He would make a great companion for any size or age of family. His mom is Akc registered and weighs around 45-50 lbs. His dad is Akc registered and weighs around 85lbs. Airagone is both pretty much house and crate trained as long as you keep an eye on him and let him out on a regular basis. He is totally house trained to use a doggie door. We are working on basic commands and teaching that inside is down quite time and playtime is for outside (we start this when they are about 4 weeks old). We start with bathing and grooming at 3 weeks old and continue this every week until 8 weeks and then he gets a bath when he needs one. We also teach the down command and not to grab and bite at food in your hand (we are still working on the down command when he gets excited during playtime). We do this because many new puppy parents have young kids and we want to make sure both puppy and kid have an easy transition. We put in all the work and introduce this to him at a young age, which is prime learning time for a puppy, so when he goes home with you, he has all the tools to become an awesome companion with not as much work for you, the new puppy parent. He will come home to you with up-to-date puppy shots and de-worming's, a puppy care pack, health records, written health guarantee, collar (or harness), leash and toy. His price is for pet only. If you are wanting his Akc puppy papers, which will include full registration, it will be an additional $150. We do this because if you are planning on having him neutered then the price difference will help pay for his neutering. He is ready for his new home now. We are accepting deposits of $150 to hold if need be. Will we not hold without a deposit. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to him while in my care then you would receive the deposit back or transfer it to another puppy if one is still available. So please make 100% sure you want him before placing a deposit on him. We take Venmo for deposits and Venmo or Cash at pick up. We do not hold him for any reason unless a deposit is placed. We offer flexible delivery options to ensure a safe and comfortable transition for your puppy: • Local pickup is always welcome and preferred. • Ground puppy transport- we do not make arrangements nor know prices but can send you puppy transporters contacts that owners have used in the past to get quotes or set up transports. If this is something you would like to do just let me know and I can send those contacts to you. All delivery arrangements are discussed personally to ensure the best and safest option for each puppy. We never suggest shipping puppies as cargo.
