Exceptional AKC Golden Retriever Puppies
These are not ordinary Golden Retriever puppies. While the Golden Retriever breed is well known for its friendly, playful, and gentle nature, the AKC-registered parents of this litter were carefully selected for their exceptionally gentle temperaments, intelligence, and outstanding family qualities.
Our goal with this litter was to raise well-rounded puppies that would be especially comfortable and compatible with a variety of families and lifestyles, including families with young children, individuals with special needs, seniors, and those seeking a devoted long-term companion. The owner also has experience raising and training guide dogs.
Early Socialization & Family Environment
The puppies are being raised in a loving, family-oriented environment and are receiving extensive early socialization. They are currently exposed to and interacting with five young children ranging from 2 to 10 years old, including two curious and loving “hands-on” autistic children.
This daily interaction helps the puppies become accustomed to children, household activity, handling, and a variety of sights, sounds, and experiences from an early age.
Health, Care & Preparation
The mother was dewormed 10 days prior to delivery as part of our efforts to maintain the health of the litter.
Before going to their new homes, the puppies will:
* Be introduced to potty training using pine pellets
* Receive their first vaccination at 6 weeks
* Be dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks
* Receive continued socialization and handling
* Be raised in a family environment with children
Water Introduction
Beginning at approximately 6 weeks of age, the puppies will also be introduced to swimming and water in a safe, controlled environment. Our goal is to help them become comfortable and confident around water.
Their mother is an excellent swimmer and diver with a natural affinity for water. She is also highly attentive and focused when children are near the water.
Ready for Their New Homes
Our goal is to provide each puppy with the foundation needed to become a loving, confident, well-socialized, and cherished member of their new family.
The puppies will be ready to go to their new homes Oct. 3rd.
Each puppy will also go home with a “Starter Gift Bag” containing helpful items to make the transition into their new home as comfortable and easy as possible.
We are committed to raising happy, healthy, well-socialized puppies and finding each one a loving, responsible home where they can thrive.
