This girl is so funny! she loves all the attention. She is a odd color as she is a blue fawn. We have been raising whippets for over 20 years. Sold many by word of mouth. repeat buyers. newspaper ads. In mag etc. Just in the last few years started to put listing under these sites. Played with every day and around our daily activities. We are not big breeders or a kennel not our jobs. We raise a few litters a year for the enjoyment and to keep a puppy out of are loved pets. Ours have great pedigrees with some champions. Some have agility coursing etc ones in pedigree. Some puppies sold in past have gone on to show, agility, duck diving, lure coursing, therapy emotional support etc. Ours are wonderful pets first and foremost and that is what we mainly sell for. We try to match each puppy with the best home so when you call, text, email, please tell us a little about yourself. What you are wanting puppy for and looking for in a puppy. And please ask questions as this lifelong pet that might be with you for 12 plus years. We have had some of the oldest whippets around ( in the 17s) so ours seem to have good long-life spans. We want to make this transaction a pleasant and safe one with a happy outcome. Can drive a little to make less of a drive on you. Can ship if not able to pick up. Shipping is extra. 918-842-0073 please call text email. We will hold a puppy for you for one week without a deposit for you to drive to pick up. If puppy is to be shipped, we ask for a nonrefundable $300 deposit which will go to pups' price to start making the arrangement for the trip etc. PayPal is a fast & safe way to pay if puppy is being shipped. Can take cash too no checks please. If ship by plane, we give you booking number etc. You get text and pictures at airport etc. If being ground transport, you get to talk to the driver & pictures of pickup and along the way. So, at all times you will know where your puppy is. Pups' papers will show their pedigree, showing name of mom and dad. Show quality of each puppy is personal opinion and not saying each puppy is show quality & not selling every pup for show dog. Each puppy being shipped will come with a vet exam where the puppy will be checked all over (Check heart, feel of bones, teeth etc) thank you.

About Whippet Puppies
About Whippet Puppies
What makes Whippets special?
Whippets are fast, athletic sighthounds who love the chase. They are very social and love both humans and other dogs. Whippets are calm and gentle when they’re not running and can usually be found snoozing on something soft and comfy. Full-grown, they typically weigh 25-40 pounds and stand 18-22 inches tall.
Are Whippets a good choice for families with kids?
Whippets are generally excellent with children of all ages. Whippets need to live indoors with access to soft places to rest their bony bodies. Whippets fit best in families with older, more respectful children or no children at all. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How do I keep a Whippet physically active?
Whippets need daily walks, during which you’ll need to keep a tight hold of their leash, should a squirrel demand the attention of your dog. Aside from walks, you’ll want to bring your Whippet to a dog park once or twice a week so they can run at full-speed without worrying about any dangers. If you’re looking to get involved in doggie sports, Whippets are ace competitors in lure coursing, a sport where dogs chase a mechanical lure. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How much grooming does a Whippet need?
Whippets have a very short coat that is easy to groom. They are also very cleanly and rarely require a bath. Brush their coat every once in awhile to remove dead hair and their coat will always look great. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
How much space does a Whippet need?
Whippets are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Whippets need to live indoors with access to soft places to rest their bony bodies. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
