Our sweet Leonberger puppies are being raised in the beautiful woods of Wisconsin amongst our family, where every day brings new adventures, discoveries, and plenty of snuggles!
These little ones have the sweetest personalities. They love being wherever we are, happily following us around as we go about our day, exploring alongside us, and soaking up every bit of attention they can get. They especially enjoy spending time with our children and being included in all the little moments that make family life so special. Sandbox play is a hit among everyone!
Aurora is beautiful! Very gentle, soft, and super sweet. She has very little white on her chest. Great with our little ones and follows us around on all the adventures. She reminds me of her mama, so gentle natured. :)
Their parents are just as wonderful. Both have the kind of temperaments we absolutely adore in a Leonberger…calm, outgoing, affectionate, and naturally friendly with everyone they meet and new dogs as well. They are gentle souls who love people. They are also amazing with our four small children and show immense patience and true love.
The Father (Wes) is 30” at the shoulder and will probably fill out to 140-150lbs full grown. Mama (Winnie) is 26.5” at shoulder and is 115 lbs.
We also place a great deal of importance on health. The grandparents of this litter have been health tested, with wonderful results and no known hereditary health concerns reported. We are proud of the foundation behind these puppies and want them to have the very best start possible. They will also be vet checked, up to date on vaccinations and deworming before leaving.
Our hope is that each puppy finds a family who will love them endlessly, welcome them into their everyday adventures and cherish the years of companionship, loyalty and unconditional love that a Leonberger brings.
They may grow into some very big dogs, but it is their enormous hearts that make them so special. We can't wait to see the love and happiness these little ones bring to their forever families!

About

What makes Leonbergers special?
As a mix between a Saint Bernard, Newfoundland, and Pyrenean Mountain Dog, the Leonberger is a gentle giant with the heart and coat of a lion. Don’t let their size fool you; they’re just kind family dogs who love chasing, being active, and most of all, staying by your side. Full-grown, they typically weigh 90-170 pounds and stand 25-32 inches tall.
Are Leonbergers friendly with strangers and kids?
Leonbergers are generally excellent with children of all ages. They have a friendly personality and love everyone, including children, strangers, dogs, and other pets. Watch young children around the these pups, though, because their size can be overwhelming for babies and toddlers. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Can Leonbergers keep up with an active lifestyle?
Leonbergers are usually lazy indoors and come alive outdoors. They need plenty of exercise and love doing activities with their owners, whether it’s walking, hiking, or playing in the yard. Make sure to keep them leashed so they don’t go running after a stray cat or small animal. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How much grooming does a Leonberger need?
Leonbergers have soft or rough coats that are waterproof. Their fur is yellow, red, cream, or brown, all with a black mask. The Leonberger has a thick mane, which gives them their lion-like appearance. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance.
Can a Leonberger live in an apartment?
Leonbergers are best suited for a house with a good-sized yard. Leonbergers prefer to live in a home setting and cooler climate. They enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors, but they should sleep inside so they can be around people and avoid the elements. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
